Milica Popovic is an environmental and social consultant at Arup in Serbia. Working across Eastern Europe and the Western Balkans, she has advised on a range of infrastructure projects funded by the World Bank, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

Milica works closely with local authorities, businesses and residents to ensure inclusion is at the heart of these transformative infrastructure developments, recording and assessing all impacts from the project, from planning to operation.

Trained as a structural engineer before specialising in management and mitigation of social and environmental impact of infrastructure development, she has brought her experience to two of the most strategic infrastructure developments in Serbia to date, including work on the Vinca landfill redevelopment as well as monitoring the construction of key Serbian highway Corridor 10 for the World Bank.
