Sean Barrett is an Associate and Chartered Structural Engineer at Arup working in the Buildings team. He graduated from University College Dublin in 1998 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
He has been involved in a wide range of structural and civil engineering work, including airports, university buildings, deep basement construction, concert halls, residential and office developments. Some of his recent projects include the new Air Traffic Control Tower and Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport, the Point Campus Student Village, UCD Science Centre, TCD Biomedical Science Institute and Miesian Plaza. He was also a member of an international Arup team carrying out vital structural safety assessments on textile factory buildings in Bangladesh.
