Geothermal Power Plant, Western Anatolia

Due diligence services for a geothermal power plant.

The project consists of a new binary cycle type 17MWe geothermal power plant located in Aegean Region of Western Anatolia, in Türkiye.

Arup provided technical and environmental due diligence services, including  site visits, review of geothermal, hydrological data, feasibility study, energy production calculations, EIA studies, schedule, contractual issues and recommendations for risk avoidance and reduction.  

As this geothermal plant is the fourth investment by the same client, Arup also performed analysis of the previous plants’ operation records with energy production calculations including internal consumption, staff requirements and budgets.
