Tripark Business Sense is the latest large scale office development built in the Las Rozas Business Park, and the first in Spain that has the LEEDTM CS Gold Certification.
In order to obtain this certification, Arup carried out the consultancy service that allows the LEEDTM objectives to be achieved, such as the 50% water saving in landscaping, 30% saving of drinking water, and 24% energy saving and renewable energy integration.
The objective was to achieve a business park flexible and easily adaptable to the different needs of the users and the environment, with a feeling of interior comfort better than any similar commercial building.
This building is an example of sustainability put in practice. Integration of environmental and user needs can be seen in the use of the natural lighting increasing the quality of the indoor environment while the façade shading strategy reduces energy gains.
The sustainability and LEEDTM measures have been balanced to achieve a building leader in energy and environmental performance while retaining market viability.
