Arup was involved in site masterplanning as well as the development of the technical brief and preliminary engineering design.
During the concept design phase Arup prepared the civil, structural, mechanical, electrical and public health engineering concept designs as a basis for developing ‘Proekt’ documentation for the entire development. The firm also provided working documentation for the construction of site-wide infrastructure and the first phase of warehouse construction (approximately 69,000m2).
When the project reached the design development phase, Arup provided a technical review and development of the local design institute’s detailed design, enabling the local design institute to submit Proekt documentation.
Arup also provided a review of Proekt documentation to ensure conformance with the client’s requirements and conducted reviews of the working documentation prepared by the general contractor at 30%, 60% and 90% completion.
