Reward and benefits

Of course, you can expect rewarding work. But you’ll also receive a competitive starting salary, a welcome bonus, a bi-annual profit share and a market-leading, flexible benefits package which you can tailor to fit your needs.

As a 2020 graduate, your benefits package will include a competitive starting salary, private health insurance and a welcome bonus.

Flexible benefits

All Arup graduates benefit from 25 days’ holiday plus public holidays, interest free travel season ticket or bicycle loan, free eye tests, private medical insurance, and life and accident insurance.

You’ll also get a flexible benefits fund, which you can use to buy other benefits such as gym discounts and iPads. Alternatively it can be taken as cash to top up your salary.

Profit share

Arup is owned in trust for the benefit of our employees, giving us all a genuine share in our success.

Each year we set aside 40% of profits to share with our staff – your share allocation is based on grade and length of service. Profit share is paid twice a year in addition to your salary.

At Arup we share our profit with our employees, so when the business does well, so do you. It’s yet another advantage of being an independent company.

At Arup, we’ll review your pay every year, and reward you for your successes.
